My 12-year-old Greyhound was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor- malignant cancer. I took her to what I thought was the best veterinary Hospital in my area, actually two of them $2000 later I had a needle biopsy done and recommendations for further procedures that would cost up to $10,000.
